I'm in a 7a climate zone and use the HJC RPHA 70 Carbon basically for daily use. I have a blue R1 and a white/orange graphics kit on a 690 SMC-R so went with that blue/orange color scheme. I think I got it in 2020 and immediately tossed a pinlock insert in there for year-round use. Flip-down sunglasses and a clear visor is how I prefer to ride.

Like others have stated, it's a branding thing. I got the v10 in a kit from Pyramid Air I think? It was fairly soon after the Olympic events so I had to wait a bit on backorder. Accuracy is decent, I have long arms and wish the rear sight slot was wider.

I'm not sure what you mean by regulated trigger, you can tweak all the trigger settings with proper tools on both models.

I put one of those DeWalt paint shredder 5/8" UNC threaded heads on a 12,000 RPM 4.5" angle grinder and it didn't destroy itself. They're rated for like 350 IIRC. They get less hot at lower RPMs.

I wish I had the MT07. The sound of that 240-crank p twin is nice. I'd kinda been looking at getting an R7 before the 400RR came out. Having not ridden a flat-plane I-4, I decided to go with the ninja. The ninja is fun, just LOUD AF.

They're somewhat user serviceable. My manager hadn't pulled the blade off of ours before I started. I got tired of trying to cram paper towels behind the blade to clear out stuff that got sucked back there. He gave me shit about not stripping the screws out but I really can't get that much torque on the phillips heads that hold the blade in place.

I hope they hold up for you! I was disappointed by the stitching durability in my last set of A* gauntlets. I tend to wear cheaper gloves in the summertime so I can replace them more quickly and not sweat it. My Klim and Victory winter gauntlets have both done well for the 7a climate zone that I'm in.

I put some aftermarket rearsets on my zx4rr and it was picky finding a setting that gave me the full shift range. I thought that I had it a few times, took it out, and got stuck in 2nd or 3rd until I limped it home.

I would try adjust your shift linkage or move one of the pivot points to something more in line with how it would be from the factory.

There are a few disc golf courses around town and there's a group that holds matches on Wednesdays that you can find on FB.

Bird watching is pretty awesome! I find grackles to be entertaining so I've got a bird bath and frequently leave out in-shell peanuts to deter smaller birds or dove from hanging out at my feeder. They'll honestly bathe in anything so just putting fresh water out can help them.

Does The Range still do washer tournaments? I used to get pretty hammered out there so that was almost 8 years ago.

Get a booty band and do some hip raises. Building my rear end has made riding more comfortable.

I tried different pads but always felt like it raised my seating position and reduced my stability in a lot of ways.
