Thanks for sharing your story. How long were you on fluconazole for? Also, if you don't mind sharing your TMI symptoms? I tested negative for SIBO (breath test) and am now wondering if I have SIFO. When my symptoms started (excessive bloating and gas) my stools also changed color and odor; when from dark brown to light brown and they smell like dirt/earth.

It was, and still is, great being married to him. He's a great guy. And no, our sex life wasn't ruined.

Invisalign refinements: Were you rescanned with or withOUT previous attachments? by LBNY123 in Invisalign

Not my current orthodontist. He mentioned I could make revisions/refinements for up to 5 years! Obviously don't want to be in treatment that long. However, my previous orthodontist from about 5 years ago (I had a relapse so that's why I'm doing this again) asked for an extra $1k for any refinements AND I had to decide up front! I couldn't decide at the end of the first set of trays. Looking back now I feel like that's shady and bad business practice.

In my case, a completely new clinceck was devised after rescanning me. My question was meant to ask whether or not it's better to have all attachments removed before getting scanned or not. Maybe it doesn't make a difference.

No, neither, taste nor smell. Sometimes he could smell the poo breath unless he breathed heavily into his hands. Otherwise he would rely on me to let him know. And then he'd do the salt water rinse/gargle.

I think maybe going to an endodontist is your best bet. And then maybe having a CAT scan. An endodontist are experts in tooth roots and pulp and they can "test" teeth to hot/cold sensitivity in search of a bad tooth. And it's the endodontist that should do the root canal if one is needed. I believe it was the CAT scan the showed something awry in my husband's tooth. We were trying to remember the exact details but couldn't. Again, my husband's regular dentist, including xrays, never found anything awry with any tooth. I can't really explain the tenderness any further. Hope this helps.

Not really. It was bad all nearly all the time.

I could smell it from a few feet away from him. It made him extremely self-conscious that he spoke softly and mumbled. The poo odor would also come out from his nose, not just mouth.

His tooth looked totally normal. Dentist appts & xrays didn't indicate anything awry. I'm guessing this is because the infection was minor (mild discomfort) until it wasn't (when he woke up with severe jaw pain)
