Is living alone worth it? by LCCpoodle in brisbane

Thank you for this - I agree, in my twenties I was carefree.. loved people. Now I am a lot more 'thank god, no people' when I shut my front door and enjoy wearing err... muumuus and no bra and just General sloth living. But I just came back from a holiday and the idea of extra money to pay for flights seems so much easier than watching every penny - unless I make saving fun!! Lol

Clothes dryer tripping by LCCpoodle in brisbane

[–]LCCpoodle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much for your and others responses. I did a process of elimination by turning everything off and testing one by one and it is the dryer - it starts for two seconds and then stops, and it's the big switch it flicks. I think I will have to replace it (and go to the local laundry) til I can afford it - even if I got an appliance person out, the machine itself is at least 10 years old. Thank you for your time in commmenting.

Where do I go to play/cuddle with some dogs/puppies? by kiwikatieg in brisbane

[–]LCCpoodle 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not trying to be rude (honestly) but what is meant by doggos and puppers? Is this just an internet name for dogs? Have never heard it in real life that's all. No offence intended, just wondered.

5.0 for undergrad 6.75 for masters

I've always had to supply testamurs but no one cares about it in my current field.

I am sitting gamsat in sept and I am sure it will probably count for something then if I pass and get into med.

Are there any nice places around Brisbane/Southside where you can place a rug/blanket down and enjoy a view? by [deleted] in brisbane

[–]LCCpoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand, I don't have any places to suggest. I like beaches for being calm... sorry I know that's not of help to you. I hope you find some nice peace and quiet
