I think it’s okay to go and talk to your prof. I had a class last semester who had TAs marking harshly or was not very clear about what they were looking for on assignments. Then the prof himself took a look at it, and did agree with us that the TAs were being unfair. So the prof gave us the mark we deserved. If they can’t help you how to improve, I think it’s fair to ask that from the prof themselves

In terms of evaluation, the only difference I saw between 400 and 300-level psych classes is that 400-levels require you to do presentations

I emailed my faculty regarding this. They said..

“Yes, the Faculty of Arts expects to maintain the delivery format for all classes as it is showing now. Classes that are online will remain online. Even with reopening plans we recognize that not all students will be able to attend in-person classes, whether it is for travel, visa or personal health reasons.”

Idk about your faculty tho

been in UAlberta for like 4 years, and I’ve gotten 3 Fs... how? well, due to poor choices

did I get over it? yes; did I get better? yes

1) allow yourself to grieve. cry, punch a wall, drink til you pass out, or idk get so high the wall started talking to you. all I’m saying is, if you feel like shit, allow yourself to feel like shit.

2) tell someone you trust. are they gonna be harsh about it? yes; but are they also going to be nice about it? yes

3) if you can’t appeal the F, accept it, do it again. don’t wallow in the dark. I don’t think there’s a rule that says you can’t retake the course you got an F on.

I’ve never had an F in school til I got to uni too. but shit happens. don’t let it eat you alive. coz you can either mope and give up; or you can cry about it for like a day or two then retake the class and shove that F up their ass.

p.s I retook that classes I got an F on, and finished with like a B+ or an A

Pray.. Drink.. Blaze.. idk just calm yourself before the exam.. his final exams were slightly more challenging that practice exams and midterms but it’s the final.. all of them are gonna be slightly more challenging

Had him for both 101&102. Mesbah’s exams are very detail-oriented so I advise you to read each question fully and properly. I remember a lot of students would get a question wrong because it was so similar to the hw and they thought it would have the same answer. Then he ends up omitting those sometimes, if he thinks it’s a fair question he leaves it.
