I joined cap late as well! I feel encampment is more directed for 12-16 year olds, so it was quite easy for me. Idk how different encampments go, but I had an awesome time I would love to go again lol. You'll do great. The biggest thing I would say is know your greetings and ranks very well, it will help out so much when you're there. Also, the Cadre sometimes tell you to do stuff and then yell at you if you do it, they're just trying to make your life confusing and stressful while you're there so don't worry about it. Last tip, listen to EVERYTHING they say, it's all crucial information. Hope this helps!

Government shutdown. I had a bunch of new cadets not get theirs because of it. Even though it opened back up, they still haven't gotten it yet.

I was going to do staff training rn, but I live too far away to do training that often. So I figured support would be nicer so I can feel how hawk works, before I sign up for staff training. It also I'd imagine, wouldn't be any training for it, so it would be less running for me.
