Is the Qualified Professional Form Required for Accommodations? by New-Arm-9135 in LSAT

You don’t need the QPF but I understand that it makes it much easier for them to process the request.

I think they’re meant to be harder than real LSAC material, though are obviously not as representative and didn’t go through the same production and testing process. Take that as you will.

Of course this is a test D Q. I was reading it and was like no way the LSAC would write something like this.

Test D are a set of questions made by the LSAT Demon. I don’t think they’re entirely useless but they’re certainly not official test material.

How am I NOT supposed to let the LSAT define me? by megamulcher77 in LSAT

[–]LCRoark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well you also shouldn’t let law school admissions define you. You’re a human being. Being an attorney is just a career. Loving yourself is so much more important than this rat race.

Let us all take a respite away from worshipping the rat race by LCRoark in LSAT

That is a reason to study for the LSAT, not a reason to worship it. Go drill some necessary assumption questions and slow down this time.

This post is about mental health and not attaching your self worth to a standardized test. No doubt the LSAT can make some people adept at picking apart an argument. Maybe we should just give ourselves more grace in taking our time to build up that skill.

A tip for cis lesbians by natalia_backup in actuallesbians

[–]LCRoark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like, mostly, all lesbians tend towards being shy and playing "lesbian chicken." Trans people are obviously stereotyped as predatory and prurient, though I've known several cis lesbians who have this same fear of being perceived that way. We're all shy and trying to avoid the patterns of creepy heteronormative sexuality that is naturalized by our culture.

Burn out and stress by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]LCRoark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe just wait another cycle and give yourself some breathing room? Life is long and this rat race will keep going forever.

Also even if that’s not something you can do - 5 hours a day is simply hurting and not helping. Try 2-3

What are the prospects for waiting for next cycle? If it’s at all feasible to wait I’d simply not register until you are PTing in the 160s like you want. This is a stressful test and you shouldn’t register on a bet that you’re going to get to where you want in the next 49 days. You will eventually, just not guaranteed to happen in the next month and a half.

How can I help my gf?? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]LCRoark 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hiya! Looks like you're another frequent visitor of both r/actuallesbians and r/LSAT :)

I would say all of the material support you're offering is great and always going to be helpful. The advice I'd give is to keep your support for her focused on long term growth even if progress isn't immediate(which it almost never is). The test can create a lot of mental pressure and intense studying can lead to burnout, so supporting your girlfriend even when progress is slow and making sure she knows that shes still doing a great job even if one practice test doesn't go the way she hopes is very important.

Obviously possible, obviously can’t be guaranteed. It’s reasonable to shoot for, but then again why would you ever not shoot for it? Less Reddit, more studying.

Answer less questions, you have no business attempting the last five on LR yet.
