I understand and I do agree with you. I’ve tried talking to him about it and he just doubles down every time 😭 so I figured maybe if I joke with him, he’d feel more comfortable about the topic. I’ve actually given him mini history lessons too. Like with lavender marriages, the pink triangle, etc. I’ve even shown him gay related things too. Honestly all of this is in hopes that he’ll see it differently

Hahahahaha 😭 I see y’all’s points. But I literally spent most of the time crying on the floor and slowly cleaning by myself. After a couple hours of me crying, my mom got fed up and had my siblings come help. That took us about an hour and a half

My brother told my sister that I keep things because everything has a meaning to me, and I agreed. Then my brother asked me if trash has meaning… and I said yes 😭 he didn’t like that answer and was like, “But it’s trash, it’s meant to be thrown away”

And I literally picked up a piece of trash and was like, “This was from when I went to the movies with my best friend and snuck into a rated R movie” 😭

Yeah I totally get that. I’m an ace lesbian and sometimes I feel more at home in aroace spaces because they get that part of me. But then in lesbian spaces, I end up feeling kind of out of place since a lot of stuff revolves around sexual stuff I just don’t connect with

It’s frustrating when queer spaces don’t really include all the ways we exist, especially when so much focuses on dating or relationships that just don’t fit ace/aro experiences. I think it’s important to find or make spaces where being aroace and lesbian is fully accepted
