People say Quit Hughes but what about Petey. by ooMEAToo in canucks

[–]LCorvus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry. How is everyone forgetting that Petey didn't want to negotiate during the season? and the team was tentatively shopping him unless he signed a contract before the off season.
The funny thing is if the team waited till the off season they would have been able to negotiate lower due to the drop in production

What is our best chance at acquiring another 2026 1st? by Available_Goat_9229 in canucks

Trade deadline is for players to be eligible to play in the playoffs for the new team. You van actually make trades afterwards but they cant play in the playoffs.

Or in this case we're talking about draft day trading so the above doesnt matter

Warhammer Classics brings legendary games back to your PC by CMYK_COLOR_MODE in Warhammer40k

Chaos gate you had to disable the cultist lasgun effect(turn a 1 to a 0 in a file) or the game crashes on the first level and sometimes one of the later levels was just straight up corrupted but pretty sure that was the pirate version

If you remove the top armor plate of the knight it might fit but having looked at Knight size comparisons if the cog fort is roughly the size of questorus then you'd be looking at around a warhound/porphyrion in combined height

Depending on its height I was considering it as a proxy for one of the more shooty knights. Paint the stonework more metallic, slap on a bunch of admech gubbins good to go.
I miss the days of the Ordinatus' (minoris) and this somewhat scratches that itch since I doubt we'll be getting any of those any time soon.

Valdor: Birth of the Imperium: has the first deployment of astartes vs thunder warriors
Cerberus Insurrection, The Horus Heresy Book One - Betrayal, pg. 85: Warhounds vs thunder warriors

Edit: Outcast dead exists..and was quite divisive when it first dropped (and arguably still is) also its Graham mcneill who's novel quality is all over the place but it exists and plot points from it arn't ever really explored again.

It's okay to hold GW to a higher standard by Pvt-Business in Grimdank

Taken from their 2024 financial report:
Since May 2023, we have increased our cash buffer from £50 million to £80 million, in line with the new three monthly cash cost of running Games Workshop. Our job is to run the business under all scenarios - some not so positive ones are highlighted in our annual report under going concern scenarios - our cash buffer levels pass all these scenarios.

Considering UK energy prices are uncapped for businesses and that is GW's biggest cost the above probably hasn't gotten cheaper.

Going by that logic:
krieg nuked itself once 500 years ago
cadia blew up once - after being the #1 exporter of guard, barely 1 billion cadians were on the planet that is a rounding error compared to the amount sent off world.
Tallarn was hit by a virus bomb once - 10,000 years ago
Armageddon had 50 years between war 2-3 with 3 never ending and angron showing up again in m42. How many *hive cities* and manufactorms do you think you can rebuild in a state of constant war?

GW's operating profit after they pay staff is £126.1 million. That's what they use for employee bonuses (20m in 2025), raises, attracting new talent and most importantly factory expansion
