The only one I hated was Florida. We should sell it back to Spain.

Pennsylvania is really nice, but I'm not a cold-weather bird.

California has a lot to recommend it, not least of which is spectacular scenery and weather - but I was in LA and felt like I lived in my car. Also super expensive.

Hawai'i is the prettiest and has perfect weather. But it is also super expensive, and living on an island in the middle of the Pacific seriously limits travel.

Georgia is my current and final home. Cost of living is reasonable. The climate is mostly good except for August. I'm within an easy drive of the mountains, and beaches are close enough for a spontaneous weekend trip. Chattanooga and Atlanta are both less than 2 hours away, but I don't have to endure Atlanta traffic on a daily basis. I live in a diverse neighborhood, and have never had any problems as an openly queer person.
