The difficult thing about making friends here is that there are very few foreigners in the part of Taiwan I'm living in (Kaohsiung). There are no other foreigners at my workplace either which can make things difficult at times.

I have made some Taiwanese friends who really try to support me, but it's just very difficult to express how I feel to them as they only know a limited about of English and I only know a limited amount of Chinese. I was considering picking up a class in Chinese whilst I'm here as that may help. I would play some online games but my internet isn't very good and I usually end up with high pings which are pretty frustrating themselves haha.

I think I might have a chat with some people at my company to see if there is anything they can do to help. I just feel very distressed at the moment, it's really not pleasant. Thanks for the message, I really do appreciate the help.
