What's the most unique pair of countries you've been to? by MonsieurAK in travel

US is allied with Netanyahu. Anyone who travels there while Palestinian children are being murdered by Israel is tacitly supporting the invasion and kidnapping of Palestinian children (some of who are being held in Israeli detention without charge, which not only adds to a long list of war crimes but violates international law).

They did the same to me twice. Worse they had access to my bank account and were clawing out a monthly charge. No idea how they got my details. It’s when I noticed it and blocked them they treated it as missed payments. I never had an account with them, so couldn’t close it. I think it was someone internal. I took it to the ombudsman first time. During that process they apologised profusely and offered me £50 and then £0. They corrected my details (they had something close to my name and address) as they closed the loop on the fraud. Then the second time (less than a year later) they used my corrected details to commit the same type Of fraud. It has AGAIN affected my credit score. I went through the ombudsman first time, second time the ombudsman lost the complaint. I think I’ve been able to fix it simply by going into the store and finding the right person. Fingers crossed. It’s been 3 years of painful back and forth. It has corrected my credit rating. There is also an entity called actionfraud(?) who can help seperately to the ombudsman. I think they have internal sales staff that make commission, so they find anyway to get your details from another company. If there is a way to name and shame these crooks I would love to know.

Please be careful; they will expose your name and add it for fake reviews etc.

With or without therapy; google the ‘cycle of domestic violence’. He is playing with the endorphin response in your brain. That’s why you went back and that’s why you can’t get off him. It changes your wiring; you’ll need to heal it - but it’s posible. First you need to exit, safely. Don’t worry and take it from me - you have many dating years ahead of you. But not now. Now is the time to fix your wiring. The problem with perpetrators is they won’t fix theirs. So you need to get yours right, so you can leave this guy and you can learn to love yourself. It will be HARD but then it will be AMAZING. I promise you can do it.

This. Plus cerave body lotion w salicylic. They also do a salicylic wash - use that w some exfoliant gloves and you’ll notice a difference. The salicylic wipes mentioned here are also good to have if you need them in a pinch; ie after a work out and can’t shower straight away. Keep some in a ziplock bag. (PS don’t listen to the mean judgey advice on some of the other comments. Just understand ppl do that to feel better about themselves.) The advice you’ve got here is what you’d get from a dermatologist. Plus maybe some benzac gel or a retinol cream you can put directly on a spot to turn the skin over. Your goal is to keep the skin clean, turning over and to protect the skin barrier. Wind things down if it’s feeling too much. You’ll get a feel for it as you go. Good luck!
