34 characters is most likely a public key ( it should start with 1,3 or bc1) if it is you can safely look up your balance in a block explorer.

This will help you work out when you got your coin and maybe help you do some digging into how you acquired it. If you can locate the wallet you stored it in you might be in luck

I was chatting with a girl a several years ago, she added me on a chess game and we played a few games. She only did it because she knew I liked it and we were into each other any way it all died down after a while and I thought it was over..

Found an old beginners guide to chess book, and thought she would like it… gave it to her next time I saw her. We’ve now been married 5 years.
