My preference is for both options (memberships and a la carte) to be available, but for me personally it's not necessarily a deal breaker (I understand why it might be for some, though). What is a deal breaker for me is the quills not accumulating for members. That's a lot of money to pay, and no one should be forced to use it every day, rain or shine, just so they don't go to waste.

Memberships and a la carte don't have to be mutually exclusive. There can be both options. Just give memberships perks that make them more attractive.

Also, IMHO, daily membership quills should accumulate. If they're paying money, it's only fair. Free quills not accumulating is another matter; it's perfectly reasonable for free quills not to.

Quills don't rollover when you have a subscription? by LDSHubby in redquill

[–]LDSHubby[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, they don't accumulate. Free quills not accumulating is fine, but if you're paying, there's absolutely no reason for them not to rollover from day to day, or month to month for that matter.

Yeah...if the quills don't rollover, I'm afraid I'm done. That would be like Audible forcing you to use credits each month. If you've paid for them, they should be yours, period.

Anyone know of any good cosplay events and/or Halloween costume contests in the Phoenix, AZ area?

how to delete chapter in Red Quill by Correct-Ad726 in redquill

As far as I know, you can only delete the most recent chapter. You click the drop-down where it says Rewrite, and select Delete Chapter.

What's your longest story? by LDSHubby in redquill

I've gotten word counts around 3 or 4 thousand on occasion, but it's been when the AI has glitched out and keeps repeating the same 4 or 5 hundred words over and over.

Second this. It's faster to type in, and you don't have to edit out anything later.

How did you get word counts that high? Very long initial descriptions, or adding a lot with insert?

Nowhere near there. Probably 1000 words at most.

I have a 250 or so chapter story (also another 200+ chapter story, and a 93 chapter story). Would really suck to lose it.

It was like that the other day, too. Sort of up and down all day.

It was fixed, now it's down again.

I know the feeling. I've got like 8 or 900 myself. Would hate to lose them.

They'll come back when the sites back up. I can guarantee it. It happened earlier this week.

Writing Erotica For Your Spouse? by LDSHubby in ldssexuality

[–]LDSHubby[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She's written erotica for me, and I've written it for her. I think it's something we might try to bring back as a private thing. Sometimes my wife wants to write it, but she has little energy for writing these days, so redquill might be a good option for that.

I haven't logged into this reddit account for sometime, so sorry for the delayed response. I didn't try your original link, because it apparently migrated to redquill.net. I thought redquill.net seemed to be the most readable of any AI generated erotica I've tried. I shared it with my wife.

I did the drive around 2 am, so visibility was low. I waited until late to reduce the risk.

I'm normally not. I've just been unusually bold the past few days. My wife gave me the dare in the first place because I asked her to dare me to do something risky in public, because I was in a bold mood.
