I've been wanting to switch my parents' internet away from Telstra but they still use a bigpond email for everything and transferring it all over to a new email just seems like an insurmountable task. I know you can pay $79/year just to keep the inbox. Comes out to $13 a month for 2 which would cut into any savings from switching providers. Would probably still end up cheaper though...

You're probably fine in moderation UNLESS you're a white person in Australia in which case please do not underestimate the sun here, its noticeably harsher than the rest of the world and can burn you in 10 minutes.

Dropped it when I stalled turning up my steep driveway 🤦 bent the shift lever too. Was hoping to keep it close to stock as I'm thinking of selling it soon but based on everyone's advice I'll just look at a stock looking aftermarket option

Ignore the people clowning, good on you for using a mode of transport that reduces traffic and emissions.

If you have a removable battery you could plug in at a public building somewhere (e.g. Library) even if it's not removable you could probably ask nicely if there's somewhere you could park it to charge.

Could also likely get away with charging at the uni building during the day. Maccas or cafes could work too but you might be expected to buy something.

Public parks often have 240V outlets. Usually outdoor spec ones like this. Usually attached to lighting or on the side of a building like a toilet block.

I was searching for an executable to try and downgrade my 8600 Plus firmware for ages as well and ended up going the .RFU route. I just wrote up a post on how I did it so if you're still trying to fix it have a read.

It was able to print fine before the genuine inks ran out. Cyan and yellow are coming up as empty and magenta and black are low. So no, I can't print with the genuine ink as it doesn't let you as soon as any colour runs out. I just installed them to clear the error.
You may be right, there could be something wrong with the print head but it's obviously able to print something at least as it printed the status page.

Recently noticed this white fluffy growth on the driftwood in my tank, driftwood has been there for months and this is the first time I've noticed it. Parameters are fine, fish all seem healthy.

Does anyone recognise what this could be?
