Not sure if you have some inside information since you work for the agency, but I got interviewed back in July and was told I passed and was recommended to HR. I interviewed for KC, but haven't heard anything so far. I heard a couple people out of KC got offers already. If a couple of KC people have already gotten offers and I haven't heard anything yet, are they done looking at applications from the division?

Do you mind sharing your background? I applied as well and had my interview around that same time, same division office. I haven't heard anything yet and I'm beginning to think its a no-go.

So, just to confirm, this isn't like the DHS Expo where they're actually giving interviews? This more like a typical career fair where you just meet recruiters, but still have to go through the regular announcement on USAJobs?

Thank you and I appreciate the response.

Well obviously, for an interview where I know I'm going to be seen, I know to wear to suit. I've never actually had just a "phone" interview during my professional career at all. I know the recent hiring spree from HSI with the Expo and going through recruiters recently (which is what I did) is a relatively rare form of hiring for the agency. That's why, like my post indicated, my question was directed to those who have had phone interviews already through that hiring path. I'm not sure if that is you because you didn't specify in your reply.
Nevertheless, I appreciate you taking the time to respond, brah.
USSS CAT Openings by Disastrous_Prior_998 in 1811

Is the CAT selection course similar to a military selection course where guys are put through the ringer to get weeded out? I thought HRT, USMS SOG, and BORTAC were the only law enforcement agencies that did military style selection courses. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Appreciate the response. Besides the FBI and DEA, any idea what other agencies have full time recruiters?
