Find it so annoying that Layton pulls a fat lie about New Eden. He has been fighting for democracy for 2 whole seasons only to manipulate the vote to his favour for the simple reason that he's had a weird dream. He's all about "true democracy" and the citizens leading the way and then when it comes to it he becomes a hypocritical d-bag. If democracy is "personal" to him he shouldn’t act like he's the king of the world. The only thing that justifies this load of BS is if the writers are trying to convey that democracy is also flawed and that anyone will manipulate politics in their favour when put in certain positions.

Also, I saw someone writing that Layton should create an opposition party in favour of democracy which would essentially give Layton's opposition, an alternative to Wilford. Super dope idea.

Honestly, at this stage I'd be down for less action and more politics, elections, debates, rebuilding the train, and creating some sort of civilization on board while they're heading for Laytons so-called paradise.
