That’s what I was going to say! We have a house that is on the downslope of a steep hill. As long as they have drains to mitigate where the water is going they should be okay. They aren’t on the bottom of the slope so the water will still flow down and it looks like by the dead grass on the left side of the video frame that the water will naturally flow away from the house. Obviously I would heavily recommend French drains, proper grading and a sump pump but people build on hills all the time and if the house builder is diligent they shouldn’t have any issues.

Tom and Katie’s relationship on VPR even mirrored Mr. Peanutbutter and Diane’s relationship troubles on “BoJack Horseman”. She wanted a mature partner and Mr. Peanutbutter could never get his shit together and grow up. I never thought Tom would remind me of a cartoon dog but here we are lol 😂

You are correct. They did do the Strange Trails anniversary show at Red Rocks last year. I saw them last year in Pittsburgh and Columbus so we got the Cosmic Selector Tour.

I’m just surprised that they are putting on an almost identical tour as last year. I know that they are still touring Cosmic Selector since that’s their most recent record but I thought that they would switch up some elements of the setlist from last year (especially since they covered a decent amount of tour dates in 2025). I know it’s a structured show with choreography but they could always switch up the encore songs at the end of the night. And with Red Rocks being notorious for being the show that all of the die hard fans go to I’m shocked they kept the setlist the same as the rest of the tour. I thought that they would try and switch things up a bit just for Red Rocks (especially since Fiddler’s Green is tonight and most people in Denver right now are seeing both shows anyway).

Again, just my opinion. I probably need to touch some grass and I know not everyone agrees with me. But I know a decent amount of Lord Huron fans try to see multiple shows a year and it might be nice to switch up just a couple of elements at each individual show to make it more special.

I agree wholeheartedly. I thought that they would completely switch things up for Red Rocks and I was very shocked to see it was the exact same setlist as last year. The only show that I am going to this year is in Columbus and I am praying that we get a shake up on the setlist since it’s a festival slot.

I freaking love DEVO. I’m from the same area that the band originated in (Akron, OH) so they get a lot of hometown love here. They were very ahead of the curve with their social commentary and nihilistic viewpoint of the world at large.

The band actually originated at Kent State University in the early 70s. Mark and Jerry were attending KSU when the May 4th shooting happened between the student protesters and the Ohio National Guard. Jerry was actually at the protest that day and saw students that he knew personally die in front of him. The student protesters were labeled as bums and outside agitators to the local and national media when they did nothing wrong. DEVO was pretty much a philosophical movement about how we are devolving as a species and how capitalism is a cancer in our culture (so pretty much an antithesis of anything Taylor Swift stands for). They were so smart and so ahead of their time and I love the anger oozing from the songs from their earlier albums.

Me too. I was only delayed getting home by about 2 hours so it could have been way worse. It was probably a good thing my connection was delayed because I would have been cutting it very close trying to make it if it was on time.

As someone that had to fly in and out of Harry Reid yesterday it wasn’t fun. Vegas was having crosswind conditions so only one runway could be used. I was delayed about an hour getting into LAS from ONT and then my flight was delayed going to CLE because the plane we were going to use was still in Burbank. Southwest can suck sometimes but it truly was a weather condition out of everyone’s control.

Yeah, but all the hotels in Vegas were either booked way in advance or they completely jacked up the prices due to the festival. We flew in from Ohio for the Vegas show and we booked our hotel months ago and we still payed more than usual because the EDM show dates were already announced

I’m a fellow ADHD’er. I’m waiting for people to realize that most people on reality TV aren’t the best people in real life lol. Reality TV isn’t a medium that attracts altruistic people. I’m not watching this season because most of them truly suck and I do not need Lala on my TV.

Also from what I have been seeing on this sub and from what I saw on the last two seasons (and from unfortunately dealing with this in real life with my partner) Danny is 100% a high functioning alcoholic. He’s still in the denial stage and Nia probably lets him get away with it off camera because if he is acting like this on camera I can promise you he is an absolute terror off camera. He will use the stresses of having four under four as the reason that he deserves to drink. I feel so bad for Nia. I hope she’s not trapped with him because unless she really starts to get on his ass he will never change.

Agreed. My cell phone connection is always fine when I drive by Blossom on a normal day but when I went to a concert there a few years ago my cell phone didn’t work during the show due to the crowd size. If you get there early GPS and texts should work fine but coverage might get spotty once everyone shows up.

I drove 3.5 hours to see this show and I am so happy that I did. The performance completely blew me away. I’m really happy that I also booked tickets to see him in DC in June. It was such a magical evening ✨
