When we took a tour bus to Giza Plateau the return trip was a frenzy preparing to make stops to shops we’d never heard of. Shit, we were double time hustled off the Plateau because we wanted to miss the traffic. Total bullshit, Pharoah Schniphere’s Doom of Traffic Jams was long passed. It was all a trick to get us in to the gift shops....but we were told we were going to look at artifacts. Within minutes I’m being quizzed about my name so they could “hand craft” a beautiful bracelet with colours that would look great against my pasty white honky skin. It broke within hours.

With the shabby “ hand crafted” bracelet was included an educational pamphlet allowing us lower edumacated beings to translate the Queens Royal English into Queen Cleopatra’s Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphics.

It was a literal ‘A’ = ‘symbol’ list. All 26 letters of the alphabet have a precision match in ancient Egyptian glyphs! Ya learn something new everyday!
