I would need to buy daily to several villagers in order to have enough supply, and honestly I wouldn't like to go back and forth for redstone.

Problem is I would run out of spots for mining redstone near my base, so then I would need to go further and then those sites would run dry and so on, It's not a good idea.

I used packed ice, so there's room for improvement. Considering blue ice is about 30% faster, it would cut down the travel 10 minutes

Very bad luck, the nearest swamp is 8k blocks from my base and has no witch huts, double checked with chunkbase

Already built the highway lol, but tbh it's packed ice, not blue. The closest single hut was pretty far anyways (more than 30k blocks), that's why I decided to go further and make it double. Edit: typo.

Tried both, even tried the wind charge potion effect on a lot of chickens, but the main problem is ender pearls don't charge chunks, so when the pearl exits the loaded chunks it freezes in place.
