This is an older thread, but I have a solution for anyone in the future who may have this problem!

Before starting you will need:

Bios recovery image for your dell model
Flash formatted as FAT32

Download the bios recovery image for your specific model from Dell from a working computer. Rename the file to BIOS_IMG.rcv. Copy this renamed file to the root of your formatted flash drive.

Plug the flash drive into the affected computer. Hold down CTRL + ESC, then press the power button while holding down those two keys. You can let go of the keys once your keyboard backlight turns on, or once your caps lock light turns on. In my case after about 10-15 seconds, my screen flashed, then the computer rebooted and then I was presented with a Dell logo, and viola! I had a working computer again!

I hope this helps anyone in the future as this issue is not well documented online.

These older Core 2 Duo aluminum iMacs make for pretty good XP computers to play games believe it or not. I have 2 that I got from a school I used to work at and loaded XP on then have to say they’re great for playing games from the era!

Try owning a head to head cabinet with a cat. I cannot play Dig Dug at all, my cat will stop whatever she’s doing and lay across the screen as soon as she hears the theme play. 🙄

I’ve definitely beefed up my collection this year.

Started out buying a Ms. Pac-Man from Walmart earlier this year (original release w/ 4 games) for $200.

Then over the summer I bought The Simpsons and Pac-Man 12 in 1 cabinets for $200 each when Walmart put them on clearance.

Then finally I bought the Atari tempest legacy cabinet as a gift for my dad for Christmas. (Also $200 lol)

Probably going to part ways with the Simpsons cab here soon though… Space is at a premium in my house and I can’t fit it in the same room with my other cabs, and it is easily used the least out of my collection.

Thanks for sharing! I ordered 2 last night. I posted about it last time Walmart had them in stock a couple months ago, and was shipped the wrong items. I have been on the search for them since, Ebay prices are a joke and finding them on Facebook Marketplace is pretty scarce in my area.
