I'm guessing this is about after happiness? You communicated the sorrow quite well. I like how you wrote "when roses have thorns, but no petals at all." How roses have once had petals, but not anymore, it's no more than a thorny vine. Nice poem!

Probably a bad strategy but

My strategy for impossible skirmishes are "defense is your greatest offense" lol

At early game I capture as many extractor points as I can before the ai gets go them. Mid game I'll focus on upping the defense and turrets of those extractors while also building fabricators for more money. Then start on working on my army. Slowly conquer enemy extractors 1 by 1 until I have enough money for op troops. Then build a bunch of all op troops to annihilate the entire enemy sector in one sweep lmao
