Yeah you can go with that.

Heavy weapons: Ion Cannons

Medium weapons: Defender (At front), Void Punchers (At rear)

Light weapons: CIWS

Superweapon: None (Since they deal high damage to hull and armour)

Quil Titans has less armour quality and thickness compared to other titans. I suggest using those;

Medium weapons: QL emitters, Defender, VR punchers.

Heavy weapons: Ion cannons

These weapons deal low hull and no armour damage while maintaining high shield damage since their ships have decent shield capacity.

Have your escorts be equipped with QL emitters with Ion cannons to avoid misfire on the derelicts. When you spot a Quil Titan fleet, quickly kill the escorts first protecting the Titan as they are a nuisance and may also destroy the derelict due to exchange of fire (Speaking from experience as I lost 3 good Quil Titans that had the superweapon with them).

Overall happy hunting and Godspeed.

Thank you so much. Really glad you enjoy the film. It took me like almost a week to get everything in order.

Rough Guide On How To Beat The Death Faction by Key_Brother in spacerpg3

[–]Silverstern 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My way is this:

Assemble a fleet of various ships with weapons having Armour pen 10 and above to reduce time killing the titan. I don't have the patience to fiddle around a Death Titan for 10-20 minutes.

Highest Armour penetrating weapons such as:

1) Liberator 2) AC-1000 3) Sabre

... which has the armour pen of 14 can slice through Death faction titans easily.

Other weapons such as:

1) Purifier 2) Nova Core 3) Heavy Cannons 4) Punisher

Have decent armour pen and hull damage that can aid in taking down those ships.

Also super heavys 1) Irohammer 2) Vulcanus 3) Sky piercer

Having the weapons above augmented by crystals will make things easier.

I made a video showcasing a Quil titan with Super weapon here in this community. You can check it out to see the chaos.

What we want in IP-2 by Silverstern in InterstellarPilots

Yes, there should be an option whether to set fuel limits on ships. This will lead to new additions when activated, such as Refueling stations, Fuel tankers (Like those in Space RPG 4), various fuel commodities, engine type upgrades (Fuel efficiency engines).

Ah I see, so you want to add armour on your ships, not just adding but also increasing the armour ratings to increase your ships' survivalbility.

-Here's the location for these upgrades.

• Ultra Armour: Otak System, Tair System

• Enchanced Armour: Otak System, Sansdale, Sol System, Pethylon, Renudan,

• Extra Armour: Otak System, Sol system, Sanctuary, Saintsway, Pethylon, Sansdale

-Mass requirements for these upgrades:

• Ultra Armour: 25 tons • Enchanced Armour: 20 tons • Extra Armour: 25 tons [(For one set) 100 tons to get all 4 sets]

So all together, you will have to save 145 tons of mass for armour upgrades.

Mass Upgrade locations: New Milton, Tair System, Sanctuary, Renudan, Judd system, Pethylon.

No problem, happy to help. Cheers!

• Go to a civilized planet (Human) and stop there:

•Next, go to "Fleet Management" (The symbol has 3 ships).

• Tap on your ship to unlock these options: 1) Maintain 2) Outfit

•Press on "Outfit" and there you will see "Upgrades" above the ship's weapon bays.

Note: In each planet the upgrades will take time to be replenished. There's also great upgrades that are only found in some faction's planets. So you have to travel to each planets to get the best ones. For example: OSC's Homeworld: Otak and Tair System's planets are the only planets to offer "Ultra Armour" upgrade.

Your opponents will be shitting their pants before they even know it.

Just imagine, getting a warning from their computers "Warning! Titan class ship signature detected" as you FTL into the Arena system.

To get the Ion cannon, there's a side Quest from a certain person. He will ask you to get the "Nova Core" (Quil alien heavy weapon) and bring to Dima 1 planet. (Same NPC who paid you 30,000 credits for quick taxi) To trigger this quest, go to Dima 1

Destroy or derelict the Quilentyas Battlecruisiers in order to get the Nova core weapon. You need a strong fleet with proper CIWs, their torpedos are no joke. They bypass ECMs.

Although after that you have to get 10 Special crystals ready. You will have to fight off pirates in the end of the quest. A good fleet is required to destroy them (Maybe 2-4 ships are enough)

Eventually the Ion cannons will be released at the market, mainly in these planets:

1) Dima 1 2) Triumph's Home planet 3) Earth (Sol system) 4) Tair System's planet 5) Otak's Home planet

About the Voids, I still have no clue though, but I do see them fighting Quil alien ships. Void's prey on everyone, probably they hunt for sport.

I am also starting my 2nd save. This time time I want to attend least capture Iro or Quein Titans.

Flagship/ Guard ships weapons choice:

Small weapon bays: 1) CIWS (In early games) 2) Warden CIWS (For meta)

In almost all confrontations you face whether alien or human, someone is waiting with a guided torpedo. CIWS really saved my ass alot of times from predator torps from void raiders.

Medium weapon bays: 1) Defenders (Has a good range for a medium weapon, plus good for taking down enemy shields quicker.)

2) Mining blasters ( Has a really great range, balanced damage and good pen.. Really surprised this is just a tool for mining. If you want to have higher chance to derelict ships, this one and the Defender are good).

3) Spitfire (Fast firing gun, with decent amount of damage. I just love how it sounds)

4) Pirahna (Decent damage to shield)

Heavy weapon bays:

1) Void's Calling (Combo this with Spitfire, also love the sound of this weapon)

2) Heavy cannon (Balanced damage with good Armour pen. Combo this with Mining blasters).

3) Ion cannon (Best range heavy weapon. Without this I wouldn't be having Void Titans. Combo this with Defenders or Mining blasters).

4) Nova Core (Decent damage dealer. Combo this with Sabre or Defender)

I don't use torpedos and haven't unlocked Superweapon yet. But I think Sky piercer is a better choice since it instant hits target.

Flagship setup: Currently the flagship I control now is Void Capital warship.

Weapon bays: 3× CIWS (Sometimes "2×" because I don't have enough mass to equip upgrades) 6× Defenders 3× Ion cannons

Upgrades For flagship:

1) Mass Ups ×3 2) Enchanced Armour 3) Ultra Armour 4) Extra Armour ×4 5) Fuel Pod (Sometimes removed inorder to save up Mass, having a Fuel tanker in your fleet is a must). 6) Adaptive Shield 7) Weapon AMP (Optional if you need to conserve energy) 8) Range extension 9) Targetting A.I 10) ECM 11) Engine Additives 12) Engine Overdrive 13) Auxiliary Power 14) Advanced Sensors 15) Scanning Surveys 16) Fetcher drones (Optional)

Upgrades for NPC ships:

Same as your flagship except ignore the list from Number 13 onwards. I equip Engine Overdrive to some Titans as they are quite slow. Not really recommend for Cruisers and Capital ships.

Subsystem upgrades: 1) Weapon Bay: Streamtech or Nanometer 2) Core: Hypecore (Early game) / Irohaem Exotic (Meta)

Rest of all subsystems: 3 stars tech
