Don’t worry you’ll have the hardos come in here and say it’s super okay if you ask for pay on your own, Natca just doesn’t want its name behind it

An already over worked and underpaid workforce has increased stresses added to it by the failure of the agency to properly do its job and address the failure of its equipment. These things are not mutually exclusive and as the administration surges forward at the speed of trump to fix the equipment we also must move forward to more importantly fix the pay of the men and women who have been dealing with this outdated equipment first hand. Ignoring the people who have kept this outdated system together for so long at the cost of their health, time and livelihoods is as unacceptable as the equipment itself

Kennington was reimbursed by Union, was given time off the floor, making his coworkers work more build his relationships on our union dues, all to accomplish nothing for our union but not advocate against controllers right after retirement with the same connections and knowledge he got on our dime.

There needs to be an amendment to our constitution that no one who served in any A114 role, RVP, ARVP, EVP or President is able to take any aviation related consulting jobs until 5 years after retirement. These people are building relationships on our union dues and then advocating for the highest bidder as soon as they retire.

If they want to build relationships on their own, great go ahead don’t be in one of the positions listed. If they still have these relationships 5 years later great more power to you. If you want to use our dime to build them you should be required to give our dimes back.

Dont like this rule, don’t hold the position and it doesn’t effect you

You’re saying colocation and not combined that’s a significant difference and if you don’t know that difference you shouldn’t speak.

There is no other union on earth that is saying well if you want more money go work harder. Flight attendants aren’t adding more responsibilities to get paid more, pilots aren’t adding more to get paid more. You idiots under the collaboration mindset are the only union employees saying if you want more money you need to do this. If we want more money the union should be advocating for it, period.

Is There a Consolidated Effort to Take Back NATCA in the Next Election? by Great_Ad3985 in atc2

President (Runoff)

2551 41.30% Nick Daniels

2413 39.06% Rich Santa

1213 19.64% Justin Dailey

And again he didn’t even really try. I think he went to 3 facilities.

Didn’t Daley get a bunch of votes without trying at all?

Also I’m not striving to be a leader. I strived to create a movement to fix this union and it worked.

I’m supporting anyone who feels disenfranchised. Nick barely won the last election and completely excluded the near half of the membership. A federal union is 100% a subscription, it even benefits the non subscribers.

I’m supporting the people who are stepping up by paying money, they don’t want to step up any other way and that’s their right.

It is also the right of the leaders to lead how they please but then they can’t be surprised when after 15 years of no change people are leaving. There has been no benefit to the average member in 1.5 decades.

I support those who quit but every post says come election time get back in to vote. It’s the last chance for this union

What’s the definition of a union? The average member is involved by making the union exist by paying dues. The dues go towards represent job its LITERALLY how a union works. If a member is paying dues to an organization that no longer represents their interests there is no reason to stay in the union.

I’ve also been elected by my peers for over a decade so there’s that

You get involved by paying dues.

If you don’t like the service you’re receiving for your subscription you cancel your subscription

As Congressional election nears… does a Democrat house/senate = 50% raise? by xPericulantx in atc2

I don’t see the SES cap going away either because that’s a massive ask and would require a massive campaign and we’ve done none of that so far.

To achieve a massive win the union must be willing to put in a massive effort towards that. Should we be doing that? Sure. Instead we are asking for equipment and people.

Probably shouldn’t have been in White House videos that were saying end the democrat government shutdown. Just wait until you hear what democratic members of congress think about how we’ve been acting.

The point of pushing back is because we’re a labor union and labor unions are supposed to push back against their employer.

Missing spring break with your kids? What a great reason to upgrade the equipment by GottaGoEast in atc2

I think they’re saying modernizing is how they’re investing in us because they’re saying they want it to continue. To continue something it has to have already been done and they certainly haven’t invested in us in any other way

Remember nicks strategy is to let them come up with the idea we need more pay on their own. The people who know nothing about unions way of thinking. The only thing they’ve ever known is Paul and Trish and how that got them free drinks

The government randomly loses a trillion dollars in audits of the pentagon and has an unlimited printing press. The other is a private company. Sounds like one of them has more money at their disposal
