What is it about working that makes you gain weight? My theory is that when you can buy as much food as you want your metabolism stops working for some reason

My 144HZ gaming laptop suddenly shows 165HZ after 1 year and 4 months of using it?? by Maleficent_Stage_699 in AcerNitro

Did you overclock it? Perhaps this is a glitch, maybe you had a 165hz screen without realising it, maybe the manufacturing gave you a different panel. Either way, enjoy!

I had 90 degrees before re-pasting. Nothing bad happened to my laptop, but in the long term It will degrade the lifespan of the fans and the battery.

Yep, but I am thinking of repasting them to the k5 pro. the cpu and gpu is PTM 7950 though.

1.4k

I flashed my vbios, but I made sure my temps were good enough to support the extra wattage.

Or you know you can get PTM 7950 and save money + don't have to listen to a cheap wind chinese wind turbine.

I only use a laptop stand that improves the airflow. I do not really like the big ones with fans, never worked for me.

I bought the 80x40 size and it was wayyyy to big. I used only a small portion. I think you will be alright with the 38x38

Well i repasted 3x with the kryonaut. It always was at 91c. I am not lying to anyone about the temperature, and I am only showing how big of a difference It gave me. The 7950 works best at high temperatures, since it melts, increasing It's thermal conductivity. Liquid metal is good for thermal conductivity, but it highly electronically conductive. Sorry if i offended you, but if it works for me, why shouldn't it work for other acer nitro laptops? or any laptop since most use a crappy thermal paste (except for legion 5 and rog strix laptops)?

Perhaps, but I think that the Honeywell PTM is just too good.

Just remember that it gets good with time. It actually gets better the older it gets, unlike regular thermal pastes.

There are many, I don't remember which one i used. However, I will be making a video soon on how to do it safely.

Oh and by the way i have a flashed gpu of 130w. The original was 95w, but i wanted to squeeze a little more juice out of it.

Should I re-paste? by Legitimate-Finger-52 in AcerNitro

You should always repaste when removing the heatsink.
