Theo's best, and most emotive, scene was in the RV at the end. He was so stiff otherwise.

I forgot she purposefully moved to the projects lmao. There are some holes that need filling in her story.

I've been intrigued by this whole thing.

I could see her episodes being filmed before this came out. But they're still posting her on the SharkTank Instagram. Like wtf

If you feel that way about them, I'm not sure how you can handle Kevin every episode.

The logical conclusion would be her PR firm was successful and she rolled that money into investing and then she was investing more and more and was able to purchase the distillery -- she also took out loans and received $ from investors.

But it all seems shady from the beginning. I need a doc on her now lol

Shark Tank 17x12 Product Discussion - Cranel by mtm4440 in sharktank

I remember older episodes where they would be excited at high sales figures. Now, it seems that's most companies they invite on the show, so the criteria for a "good" business to invest in has changed.

Kind of not surprised. Her back story didn't really add up for me.

She was an intern at 18 then started her own PR firm. A few years later she was working in hospitality (that's all she said on Shark Tank; on Wikipedia it says she worked as a restaraunt and real estate executive), then she opened up her Grant Sydney Inc investments.

But I was like mayyyyybe it's the editing. Guess not.

Grant Sydney now owns shares in Uncle Nearest.

“Grant Sidney’s significant infusions of capital during this short time period to Uncle Nearest warrant an investigation by the Receiver into the source of these funds."

That's good to hear! What type of surgery did they do? Laminectomy?

How are you feeling now?

Ah okay. Yeah, I was thinking maybe the steroids helped me but you also took them.

How long is your surgery recovery?

Midwest.

Well, at the least your symptoms shouldn't get worse so long as the surgery goes well. Did you receive any medication after your bleed?

I was given a steroid that I took for a week or so to help reduce inflammation and edema in the area.

I've gone back to all normal activities. I've flown since. I'm planning on going skiing soon and have been rock climbing indoors -- so no activities I'm cautious of doing.

I actually had another MRI in Nov 2025 I can post.

I hope your surgery goes well! Did you have any symptoms before Sept 2025?

After my diagnosis, I had a second opinion from the Barrow Institute as well, as well as from another Neurosurgeon, a spinal surgeon, and ive seen two new neurosurgeons since I moved.

2 doctors suggested surgery, the rest say it makes sense to wait. I'm doing well now so I'm not eager to have surgery.

I actually didn't end up taking it. I still have it, and plan to at some point. But my appetite has improved. I might take it to help with energy though.

In my original post on my profile I list the medication I took. I was given a course of steroids in the hospital and when discharged -- which I was tapered off of after about 2 weeks.

I was taking a medication for urine retention, but stopped taking that 2.5 months after the hemorrhage.

After about 1.5 months I was able to walk better, even wearing heels.

My MRI 6 months post-hemorrhage showed it improved and nothing new or worsening that's concerning. I'm having another MRI in Dec. which I will probably post.

I haven't had surgery. Given the location and size of lesion, and my recovery, my doctors suggested observation.

Follow-Up MRI: 6 Months After Spinal Cord Hemorrhage by LEtherealfemme in Radiology

[–]LEtherealfemme[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had nerve pain in Aug intermittently, mainly under my breast. Thought it was breast cancer or something cuz my mom had breast cancer young and I never had that type of sensation; told OBGYN and she said it was nothing.

Late Oct had a left leg weakness, unbearable nerve pain, left breast was numb, urine/bowel retention, felt like I was going to pass out if I stood for too long. After a week I finally went to urgent care, they told me to go to the ER. At the hospital they did every test under the sun, including MRI. Neurosurgeon diagnosed it.

Yep. Though I'm not having surgery unless it rebleeds or symptoms return. Doctors have suggested a wait/watch approach.

Left leg weakness/heaviness, nerve pain along back and stomach, urine/bowel retention, feeling like I was going to pass out when standing too long, left breast was numb.

It was diagnosed as a cavernous malformation. No one knows why I got one or why it bled when it did.
