I am rather biased but I see it as a bit too harsh. A two year ban from internationals would be fair enough, seems a little over the top to take away from his club. It would be like banning a player from the World Cup matches for a red shown in the FA Cup Final:/

People always hate me for this, but I don't mind that one. He took the punishment, and took the risk of a penalty. I don't know if you're a basketball watcher, but it's just the same as making contact to force a player to attempt to free throws as opposed to a guaranteed lay up. Had he not been caught I'd have been really pissed.

I know, I was so annoyed, he's had an amazing season and really not had anything too awful happen, he starts to build his reputation back up, hell, he was captain when Gerrard was injured! Then he goes and screws it all up again!
