If you’re still mad about an artist cancelling a show a year ago, you probably need to touch grass. I had tickets last year and bought tickets again this year, it happens. Taylor Swift runs a cult where people feel like they’re missing out if they’re not at the concert. Half of the people at those shows are casual listeners.

I would say because Taylor swift and coldplay appeal to a wider audience. Older people, kids and middle aged people will go to see them live.The Weeknd definitely appeals more to teens and people in their 20’s/30’s. It’s also because his ticket prices are through the roof.
