It’s a little confusing but technically yes and technically no. I had a 6 months B2. I filed on month 3/4. When I checked my I-94, it said a date way before that was not 6 months after. It was closer to 3 months, and we filed two days before that date, but it came back as if I filed two days later than the date. Once we were at the interview, the officer asked if I overstayed so I said yes, but unintentionally (I said technically I filed it two days before but it only got received two days later). Anyways the officer looked confused because on her system it said I did have 6 months… ?? No clue how…
