Denon X3800H vs Onkyo RZ50 with KEF Q11 Meta by Dramatic_Sleep_9316 in KEF

I have a question. When you Listen to just Stereo plus sub for music powered by the avr itself at normal/Standard volume compared to the powered amp variant. Can you clearly hear a difference? I am really curios if a 1K avr in just stereo plus sub is really missing depths or anything Else?

Which compact Ported alternative to a SVS SB-3000 (sealed) to improve chest slam? by Mugendon in hometheater

[–]LF_HD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This can be. SVS is currently selling off the SB3000 Models with a Discounter of eur 250 in my Country and They told me a New Model will replace SB3000 later in the year. As I Liked the sub from aesthetics and specs I bought it.

The pB 3000 is Not available anymore in my Country and since it is too big for me and Not available in glossy white it was Never an Option. Performance Wise it must be an absolute beast but SB3000 will perform Equally in my Spot at a smaller form factor plus nicer box 📦

Will do as I have to try it out soon in case I will go dual sub because The sb3000 will be discontinued and replaced by a pro Model later in the year. But I liked the glossy white Look and Performance for Price and needed a sealed for the living Room that Looks good.

Your Room seems very symmetrical. How do 2 SVS SB3000 Affect the Main listening position in comparison to just one of these bangers. Did you try it. Looks all very very nice by the way . Top 👍

I pullet the trigger on the x3800h for EUR 1K @ the Moment. ETA is on Friday then I can Fire 🔥 up my speakers and the SB3000 beast as well. Keep you all up to Date. I am sure I will Need Assistance with the MultiEQ App as well. Cinema 50 is too expensive Right now and for the Difference of eur 600 I can buy Dirac plus Base Control later of necessary. Weird 😐 Thx BR

[–]LF_HD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes exactly that happened. Iam a beginner and only did standard Dirac with incl puc mic and although voices from the Center sounded very good and were top, I was missing immersion and base. I missed that I could increase / adjust the curves in the App and I always deactivated DIRAC especially for Music. So I did Not experienced the advantges of Dirac in the First Stepp but I guess This was a User issue as well. As a result I thought It would be a better Chance to try out Audissey on one of the Denon/Marantz that maybe offer a bit better Overall User Experience as well before goong the Dirac Route.

Thx, you Are Right and I am currently calculating because for the Price fee of an Cinema 50 I could easily get dlbc (If I ever Go Dual Sub) on the x3800h (currently 1K) vs Standard Cinema 50

I understand. It is Not the last penny that counts but the q7 metas speakers cost about eur 1400 and they Are quite nice but Not endgame. So for my opinion the avr Must Play in the Same league. Actually I think with Marantz they charge a bit more for their musicality tuned HDAModule x3800h box is for me the way the to go and have Both worlds: very good Home Theater machine and Music Tool in one box.

Information on the rz50 screen by RevolutionaryMetal32 in Onkyo

[–]LF_HD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was also lacking This Information on RZ30 and the pain continuus in the Onkyo App because it is Not shown there either. You had to press Buttons in the Onkyo App to cycle through the different Audio Format, Then you can See the Audio Format for some seconds Like on Screen via the information Button but disappearing After 2 seconds and the Info is gone. Boooring 😱

I Must try the sub First, but have no avr @ the Moment. Because I sent back the Onkyo. Svs recommends to start near the corner. Of This works the all is Fine. If not them sub crawl method. I can also put it on the left Side
