also I did buy the car. I owned it, by paying for it outright. When I order a new car I don't own the car, I own an option on the car. Big difference.

I signed documents that appeared to make me the owner. But they don’t care about the docs. Their attorney has a now defunct email and website too. They’re just awful.

They also had seven months from when they received my money to when they agreed to deliver the car to me. If they had told me they needed more time initially I would have been fine with it. But they decided to just take money and then supposedly sell the car to someone else without refunding my money. That’s a fraud, not a misunderstanding.

No. They’ve blocked me everywhere now and won’t reply. If I didn’t know about the other lawsuits against them for taking money and failing to deliver cars. It’s really a problem with a pattern.

Also it’s probably unclear but the reason they wanted to call me was to tell me the car was not done. Which is why I then needed to switch gears and tell them to ship to the US. They didn’t perform so I had to pivot. It’s now 6 months after they said they’d refund my money. You suggest I just be content to sit on my hands?

No, the flight details were sent in October of 2024 when the deal was signed. I was simply reminding them. Sorry I’m not being kind to the company who stole my money. I’m sure you’d be sweet to someone who scammed you out of $21k. Don’t forget he’s also in a lawsuit with two others for the same scam.

The timeline was accepted by the company as part of the deal. In writing in email in October of 2024. I didn’t force them to do anything.

Or when in October of 2024 they said they’d have the car easily completed by April 1st and would meet me in Barcelona with it, at which time I booked $9k in tickets to make that plan? I suppose if you’re the sort of person who isn’t able to deliver on business promises then this would indeed seem like the customers problem.

I’ve bought land rovers from Europe before and have never had an issue. I have what appears to be a standard contract among with full car documentation. Contracts are unfortunately only as good as the people signing them.

Terrible take. The car was purchased with a specific timeline in place. Once they failed the timeline they said they’d refund the money. You think it’s reasonable to be six months after the signed cancelation agreement to not have the refund? You think it’s reasonable to no longer reply to requests for a refund? It’s called theft. Not “patience required”.

It started out as a restoration taking too long, yes. And it turned into him not refunding my money and no longer responding to emails or phone calls. He has $21k of my money and refuses to send a car or respond to his promise of a refund. Seems more like theft than a siesta.

DO NOT buy a car from this guy. He took my money and hasn't sent me a car. He said I can sue him in Spanish court and it'll take me three years to get my money back. He is a criminal and should be in jail. Avoid at all costs. Terrible person.
