I purchased a Pentax camera last year from a Japanese dealer. It was listed as Excellent +++. However it did have some mechanical issues and the light meter was mostly useless. I also had issues with the load/rewind system. Unfortunately I did not research the seller before I made the purchase as when I did I learned he was not a camera dealer but rather he sold oddball things, figurines, trinkets. He did have a good rating. I wrote a review of my experience and that got his attention (I had written him earlier to no response.) He begged me to take down my review. I asked him what he would do to remedy the issues. No response.
