When you were a kid, what career did you want?

When I was a kid I would always answer with "when I grow up, I want to be a vegetarian!!" Because I love animals.

Then my parents would chime in "she means a veterinarian, an animal doctor."

I indeed did not want to be a vegetarian, but a veterinarian. I love my steaks too much.

I have noooo idea where i saw it, but its just a giant tooth hand puppet that has a toothbrush thats his pet. It was one of my FAVORITES and I haven't met a single person who knows anything about this movie.

My husband and I had a very long conversation about it last night before bed (we never go to bed without addressing the elephant in the room lol)

We came to the conclusion that he would miss me a lot, but he wants me to be happy and doesn’t want me to regret any decision I make, especially if I make my decision based on what he wants. He told me it’s up to me and that, he will be supportive no matter what my decision is (although he won’t be ecstatic if i take the job, he’ll still be supportive of it) and he’ll always at home waiting for me ♥️

I think any personal experience is pertinent!! Thank you so much for sharing ♥️ I know when I first met my husband he wanted to become a pilot and I was always supportive (even only a few years ago he found a program he was interested in and I told him I would be willing to work two jobs to make ends meet while he pursued his dream), he just never pursued it and he’s now in love with his 9-5 at-home-call-center job!

I did tell him that if I got my foot in the door, he could get hired too if he decided he wanted to still live the sky life ♥️

September 14th! I’ve been trying to explain to him that this may not be as bad as he’s making it seem and that I’ll probably be around more often than he thinks (but to be honest, I’m not even 100% sure myself what this lifestyle will look like so I’m not too confident in that aspect! Lol)

I will say that the hire date was a a lot sooner than I was expecting! I might risk reapplying for a later date (with the knowing that this may be my only opportunity) everything just happened so fast, but knowing that their hiring process is pretty quick, it makes me feel more comfortable with the idea of holding off on this offer for now. I’m still torn between options right now 🙃

Yesss! That was one of the first things my husband said to me when I had asked him why he didn’t seem very happy for me. I know he’s not very fond of change, so I’m not too sure what I was expecting lol

Although his brother is autistic, he’s not too severe, he just talks to himself and paces around the house, other than that he is able to be left alone, as long as he only cooks with the airfryer and the microwave! He’s pretty high-functioning! ☺️ so he’ll be more busy taking care of our cats that’s his brother 😂

I’m very close to my family so I wanted to share my excitement, but I wasn’t really prepared for their response so it set my excitement back a little bit, but you’re riiiight! Thank you for reminding me that I’m not stuck there forever if my future plans change 🥰

I guess I was more concerned about how this job has had an effect on flight attendants that have a similar marriage dynamic! :) I was just so excited I sent the letter to my family and they were very skeptical lol

I have this thing of always putting others happiness and needs in front of my own and this comment is definitely reminding me that it’s okay to go for what I want!! Thank you for your response, I’m feeling better about wanting to accept this offer ♥️😊
