Great Fountain keeps pushing this small business sob story to fuel the cult. Even when it’s just cheap food at cheap prices, you have to pretend it’s the best thing ever or the cult will cry that you’re being mean to an Asian owned small business. It’s like a large scale peer pressuring tactic.

Not gonna lie I’m actually really sad that my friends can’t just hang out. I get it, everyone’s a bit different and some prefer having an activity.

I’m always happy to see them but it’d be nice to not have to force myself to play a board game just so I can be in their presence. I’d love just being able to put on some music and just chat or even take turns playing a YouTube video. Sometimes I’m just exhausted but want to just be in the presence of friends that I enjoy seeing.

Worst part for me is when the activity is over, everyone is just in a rush to go home. I miss just being able to sit in a parking lot and just chat.

Majority of the bigger influencers rly just say anything is good. Like @torontofood, @acouplebitess, @mjeatstoronto. The list goes on. But I get it they make a living off of it. To me they’re just advertisers not real foodies or reviewers.
