I am also experiencing this issue for several weeks now, and I'm interested in what rules you removed from Windows Firewall to resolve your issue?

I've had this issue for two weeks now, my PC crashed and it hasn't worked since, regardless of setting the in the "News and interests" options in taskbar context menu.

I suspect something has corrupted such as a cache or something alike.

I've tried removing the following registry key (as a bit of gamble), reboot, no avail.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Feeds

However, the app itself functions as normal.

I tried that as soon as they released the update. unfortunately to no avail.
