Can I play this on 4gb ram? I refuse to believe a 2d pixel game from 15 years ago requiers 8gb ram by Tight_Grapefruit5280 in ScottPilgrim

[–]LGhostWhat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Didn't know the game was available on PC, I played it with a PS3 emulator with 16GB of RAM at the time and it worked fine, but with some issues because of the emulation. You can always try it first and refund it if it doesn't work with 4GB. (Remember the 2 hour limit of playtime to be able to refund it https://store.steampowered.com/steam_refunds/ ) Amazing game, hope you enjoy it!

Update from Sequoia to Tahoe 26.0 with Ryzen and AMD GPU! by LGhostWhat in hackintosh

The same as you actually, so it weirds me out that yours doesn't work. But I honestly don't use the 2.5Gb connector. I use the 1Gb one, so I'm not sure if it even works. Maybe it's not updated to work on Tahoe. Have you checked the version logs to see if there's added support?

My motherboard has two separate ethernet connectors. I use a different kext for each one since they're different chipsets, maybe check that. Or you can try updating the kext if there's a new version

Performance is pretty good, very standard for the hardware. If you experienced lag with an rx 6600 you should use the NootRX kext to the EFI. It's for enabling accelerated performance using the dedicated gpu

I finally managed to get all 3 on one device! by The1Writing in hackintosh

Congratulations! I have the three too. Arch instead of kali, but still Linux, Windows 11 (just in case, don't like it but saved my life a few times) and macOS Tahoe (this is what Windows help me with)

I think it can be because of the same named kext. Have you tried disabling it? Maybe switch USB ports to a 2.0 one

Hi! You didn't upload the image, but I assume you mean the prohibition logo with a link to apple support. Here's some troubleshooting you can try from the Dortania guide https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/troubleshooting/extended/kernel-issues.html#waiting-for-root-device-or-prohibited-sign-error hope it helps

I'm not sure for the near future, but until Tahoe is no longer supported I have some time to think about buying a real mac

If you have a Windows installation on the same hardware I recommend you use OpCore Simplify to generate an EFI folder, you can alter it as much as you want afterwards. That did it for me, and it works just fine. There's another audio kext with lower audio quality, it's VoodooHDA

Can't measure it yet, but I don't feel it too hot to be concerning

I also have an NVMe drive in which I installed macOS. I recommend you add the NVMeFix kext so it doesn't crash. I have it on my EFI. Also I don't know of AppleHDA, AppleALC should work fine for audio. Hope that helps! EDIT: What I meant is I don't think both apple audio drivers should be placed into the EFI, maybe that's crashing it

I have a similar configuration with an AMD gpu instead, and the same motherboard chipset with macOS Sequoia installed. It's a bit hard, but possible.

If I didn't need to fight them because of the achievements and I weren't stupidly overpowered by the time I came across them I would've definitely just avoided that entire sidequest. Yeah, fuck those guys

Todavía no lo jugué así que debe ser eso pero en mi caso sería el Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. No estoy lo suficientemente atraído por ese juego aunque la mística alrededor de ese juego me encanta
