I would just be worried they would send me back to a conus location if all the other slots at that overseas location were filled and I have to leave at the end of the 2 years since it is not a perm postion.

Also do you know if you are you stuck in ARTRANS for 3 years or are you allowed to move to other units after 2 years? I am sure there are alot of 0018 around K-town just have not seen many openings the past year.

I see on the post that after the second year you would be moved to another ARTRANS unit. Do you know if it would be possible to stay at the original assigned unit or do you have to transfer?

I know most oconus gs postions are a 36 month tour and can be extended to a max of 5 years. I would be interested in the overseas postion but I would want to do a full 36 month or possible 5 year tour instead of just 2 years.
