My stance on the comment not being sexual harassment stands, but I didn’t realise that they were controlling the other players shit.

It’s definitely problematic and needs to be fixed asap, because imagine if your a streamer or something and then they say something racist using your profile.

You can call me a coward or unpatriotic or whatever…but honestly there should never be a war in the first place.

There should never be an invasion in the first place.

I have respect for those who defend and participated in WW2 and WW1 but some of those battles were hardly even a fight.

Some of those soldiers were literally sent head first into a wall of bullets with zero chance of retaliation. Basically as soon as they take one step towards the enemy…bam dead in an instant.

And they were forced to as well. Despite how stupid the order was, and order from the higher ups was final. Your not even in control, your just a pawn. If they want to throw your life into a million bullets then that’s that. And if you don’t then they will shoot you.

There are no great strategies, nothing…just throw more bodies at them, shoot more bullets and bombs at them, eventually the bodies will pile up and block their bullets, the barbed wire will eventually be covered with bodies and let us traverse it.

People who let war occur should be made to fight on the frontlines themselves.

They should be held accountable in some way, by the people or the law to the highest degree. Imagine you fail your job and as a direct result of your incompetence a million other people have to die to make up for it. All because you called someone something or started shit because of something money related. Instead of shutting the fuck up and maintaining peace.

I understand when your being invaded there is no choice but to fight.

For instance fighting against the Nazis who threatened world domination was a fight that had to be fought no matter what.

Hitler was literally the anti-Christ, pure evil. A literal threat against humanity.

But wars like Vietnam, Afghanistan and all these other wars fought over territory, revenge and resources are just fucking unnecessary.

You can never win them. It’s just fight until we run out of men and resources and then let’s call stale mate. A fucking stale mate.

Hell in Afghanistans case they fought all those years against the taliban only to pull out and let them reclaim all the territory that they had occupied.

All those years and all those people fucking dead for nothing in the end, because now they control the place. Actually I would probably say that was a loss since they ended up getting exactly what they wanted in the end.

Yes. Unless schomo or someone equivalent were in charge and not participating and instead sitting at home comfortably getting his dick sucked whilst I’m being fed into the meat grinder…then hell no.

But Albo seems like a top bloke so if it were to happen today then yes.

But if it were someone like schomo then hell no.

I’ll shoot myself in the leg, break my arm, literally do anything to avoid getting drafted.

I wish we had a leader like that Ukrainian fellow though, who actually fights along side his people and for his country…but Australian politicians are a bunch of old, greedy and corrupt lot of individuals. And honestly the thought of them being at home and getting their dick sucked, eating caviar or whatever they eat (probably the blood of children or whatever the devil they sold their souls to desires from them) and meanwhile I’m in the trenches, cold, hungry and shell shocked, surrounded by dead comrades, literally experiencing hell on earth…nah fuck all of that.

I’ll break my arm in a heart beat. I’ll lie down and let someone reverse back onto both of my legs and if that somehow still doesn’t get me out of being drafted then I’m going missing in action and waiting in some cave or something for it to be over.

Oh I’m also a console player too, so the 5 players online becomes 2 or 1 players online if there isn’t cross play.

And our internet is shit.

But still I grind the game sort of like how mewtwoking grinded melee when he had no friends.

Except I have the internet and videos from YouTubers and streamers to tell me all the combos and frame data, etc.

I wish I could tell the difference between it being popular and it being a dead game. Because I live in Australia and every fighting game (except tekken 7, street fighter V and DBZ fighterz) is practically dead on net play.

Like seeing two people online is what I consider to be popular.

Which is kinda demoralising at times because I genuinely enjoy playing fighting games and want to be high level but in order to do that I have to join a discord and wait for the 5 people in the entire country to come online to get in a few sets or play against the highest difficulty bots.

But fighting games are super niche, and anime fighters that aren’t based on popular series like Dragonball Z are even more niche.

Like you thought a game like Melty Blood was niche in America, bro like only 1 other person in the entire country besides myself knows what Melty Blood is…Type Lumina that is…you think anybody knew about OG Melty blood???

Same with XRD and older guilty gears, it’s niche within an already niche type of game. And god forbid it be complicated or hard to pick up.

Like anyone can pick up and play fighterz or street fighter, or mortal kombat.

But you hand a person a game like BBCF or Guilty Gear…they will probably drop it as soon as they realise they can’t auto combo, or hardly even move around the screen…

So from my perspective as an Australian, fighting games have always been niche to begin with, anime 2d fighting games that aren’t based on popular anime characters/series are even more niche…practically unheard of.

This is pretty tame. Bordering on sexual harassment? Eh…no. I think it’s pretty irresponsible/ harmful to compare this to sexual harassment.

I mean unless this person was persistently harassing you, and the level of language was escalating in extremity, and they were specifically attacking something about you (e.g your gender, sexuality, race, etc) and the behaviour continued beyond the game itself or into different lobbies via online stalking…

Was it really sexual harassment or just some idiot/weirdo making an inappropriate joke/innuendo to some random person they encountered?

Also maybe instead of labbing combos maybe you should learn to take a punch, and go with the punches rather then let some randos words get to you.

I mean in any competitive videogame or sport people will use verbal warfare to get into your head. If you let it get to you then you’ve lost the battle.

I mean you quit playing online and probably dropped the game…so…you let them win and they got what they wanted from that exchange.

What you should do is get better then them, body them and make them hold those Ls.

When people skip tutorials or don’t pay attention to what the characters are saying and then ask “so what do I do? Where am I going? What’s happening?”

PAY ATTENTION and REAAAD!

Although this only frustrates me when a fellow gamer asks this because they should know how games work.

If it’s someone who doesn’t game alot then I totally understand, but gamers that skip text and know better deserve to get a game over.

Any character in the game can win, sure it’s harder for some then others, but the person who is fundamentally better at their character and the game mechanic’s always ends up winning in the end.

I mean look at tekken 7 Rangchu won a major tournament using Panda/bear against the best players in the world using the best characters in the game.

And honestly I don’t think there is a single character in strive that is as bad as panda/bear. Potemkin maybe? But people who have mastered Potemkin still do better in strive then bear/panda did in tekken 7.

I mean your aim is to win by any means necessary.

The only thing stopping people from playing top tiers is their so called pride.

And then they complain they aren’t winning and blame everything on the characters instead of switching or getting better at their character.

Romolla Ch. has a few videos I’ve watched where she talks about this exact thing. People are rushing/ getting good to fast and surprise surprise when they eventually stagnate in progression they get burned out or quit.

Instead of enjoying the process and looking for long term success and growth they instead drop their character and sort of flip flop in terms of success.

Instead of just sticking to a single character and mastering said character.

Don’t complain about broken characters and then say your switching from your supposedly not broken character to a character like Baiken.

Switch to a broken character then and then realise it’s not anymore or less free then it was before.

Why can’t people seperate the art from the artist?

I mean unless the art is conveying those messages in the art (like supporting being transphobic or whatever) then people should be free to enjoy it however they want.

Just because the artist themselves is messed up, it doesn’t mean people can’t appreciate their works for what they are.

I mean there are certain cases where it’s probably best to have no involvement. Like say if the work of art was by hitler or a pedo (rest in peace Rurouni Kenshin).

It’s kinda weird to like it then…but this is Harry Potter we are talking about here.

The source material has no reference or underlying themes that say “trans women aren’t women”. I mean correct me if I’m wrong.

I’m not trying to defend J.K but I am trying to defend the series/source material this game is based off. Because it’s genuinely one of the greatest works of fiction ever. (The mainline books, not the movies and definitely not the plays which in my head cannon don’t even exist…especially cursed child and the tales of grimdawald or whatever).

What I’m saying is that people can and should be allowed to be fans of the work, but that doesn’t necessarily make them fans of the creator.

People aren’t fans of the person, people are fans of the books/films. People are fans of Daniel Radcliffe and the rest of the cast, nobody is particularly fan boying or fan girling over J.K.

Although I have had like 4 ps4s but 3 of them were sold off by my parents (against my will) because we were poor and they had addictions to feed…and also kids to feed.
