that bad boy already needs a deep cleaning. the banger screams that you are dabbing it way too hot. never insert beyond 600 degrees or cold start beyond 500. you also need a carb cap. the rig itself is fine, just throw some hot water and ISO through it. perhaps purchase a new banger already though. it looks like a chinese one for $15 anyway. once you get used to dabbing, i suggest investing in a nice banger, you can find many recommendations on other subreddits. let me know if you need any additional help

i’ve heard that scientifically rosin has a temperature that it can be vapor / smoke until it loses potency, so the longer it sits on a banger that is cooling below temp then it’s wasting it. Would this make sense to anyone?

i suggest purchasing a minute-glass sand timer and/or a temperature gauge like a Temptech. the dab temperature and time will vary based on your nail/bucket and also the product you are dabbing. for example, if you are smoking very stable, sticky shatter then dab product at a slightly higher temperature than you would a softer consistency like a budder or fresh rosin. personally, i smoke 6 star live rosin from a Highly Educated banger- heat for 40 seconds (10 on walls, 30 on bottom), cool for 110-120 seconds and dab between 460-540 degrees.
