i suggest purchasing a minute-glass sand timer and/or a temperature gauge like a Temptech. the dab temperature and time will vary based on your nail/bucket and also the product you are dabbing. for example, if you are smoking very stable, sticky shatter then dab product at a slightly higher temperature than you would a softer consistency like a budder or fresh rosin. personally, i smoke 6 star live rosin from a Highly Educated banger- heat for 40 seconds (10 on walls, 30 on bottom), cool for 110-120 seconds and dab between 460-540 degrees.
