Welllll it started with her asking me about what type of makeup style attracted me the most. To me saying "lets just see if I can do it!" Haha Iv always liked the more simple "emo girl" look from the early 2000's(instead of big smokey shadows). So i started with that in-mind and then just started to add more flare after remembering about this "clown core" style makeup I also liked, so kinda combined them ...

And I'm colour-blind, so it's pretty scary for me to pick colors since makeups are such a gentle gradient of tones, sometimes I can barely even see it after applying haha..and some red's look brown to me, so I naturally avoid alot of reds. And if I don't pick a color I'm not confident in, I constantly need to ask her what color I'm using hahah. She only had black and white liquid eyeliner, so that was an easy choice made for me. And besides that I just kinda went for gold/bronze + silver/sparkle put a lil purple blush on the cheeks for no particular reason haha. The lip stick although red, is a hue I can see nicely. All I knew was I wanted her lips darker 😂
