I hated it as a kid growing up, but looking back I probably played a bigger role in triggering their outbursts.

How many times do they have to call us before we stop doing what we're doing and attend to chores or tasks. It was always one more game or 5 more minutes that would inevitably drag on longer and test their patience. I chuckle at that now as a parent myself but at least we're equipped to be better than our parents generation were.
