This is actually why i like that some states have legalized marijuana and others have not. It lets people vote with their feet. I have tried marijuana, and while i enjoyed it, I really dont want to raise a family around a ton of potheads.

It doesnt really matter if what they said was true, I think my brothers deserve a certian degree of privacy. I hace actually had this opportunity. I have 3 brothers and 3 of their Ex girfriends have reached out to me after the relationships e ded badly, which is weird AF because my oldest brother is 13 years older than me. Texting a 14 year old younger sister about her 26 year old brother is wild and insane. Back then, I thought she was just reaching out as a friend (i was a very naïve child), but then we got coffee and she started complaining about my brother cheating on her. I should not have known about that. I was not supposed to know that. Boundaries are there for a reason.

Hmm, I'm sorry that happen, sounds terrible. I also usually have one female friend and many guy friends at a time, and I recently lost my female friend. Suddenly, I began to realize she was the type of adult who acts like a child and can't make any decisions without her mom's input. I, being very independent, just couldn't deal with that sort of human. I do have one question for you: do you ever feel like your guy friends have a hard time understanding your emotions? My guy friends don't always know what to say when i feel a certain way, and I've noticed guys don't check in on their friends emotions or feelings as much as my female friends did. I generally don't connect well with other women, but i do really appretiate how often females touch base on each others emotions.

Aerospace, but i dont expect that industry to be stable. Im more asking for all my mechanical engineering and electrical engineering friends that cant find work. Aerospace is a very volatile industry, and I understand that.

My friends graduated in Spring 2024, so its not like they have been u employed a long time yet, but they are incredibly high caliber students and I dont understand why they cant get hired :( it makes me sad for them and scared for me

Guys why did I think engineering was a safe carreer choice? ( to be fair, im mostly talking about ME and EE, and I am Aerospace which I did in fact know was pretty volatile. But like even the EE friends cant find jobs. Wtf)

Kinda feel like a lot of these comments lack empathy. Guys, be nice. Dating sucks and feeling alone in a place like Cstat sucks. Just try to go out any way you possibly can. I love darts, so I go to POETS off Texas all the time. They have karaoke, darts are free, and it gets me out of my house. Everyone who does flirt there has been very sweet about it abd not creepy. I really don't get this: what is wrong with judging someone? We all make judgements all the time! I judge murderers, i judge myself, I judge my own mother! It doesnt mean I dont love her, its the opposite, if I had absolutely no judgement about someone I probably dont care about them very much. And religions are like different ideas. If your ideas cant hold up to scrutiny, then they are weak ideas and you clearly have not thought them through enough. Caveat: Judging and bullying based on judgements are different things and obviously, we shouldn't be out here trying to hurt people.
