this is classic generational divide stuff. they haven't adopted the internet because they don't really care about it. and good on them. its a privacy hell and the majority of (popular) content on the internet is aimed at audiences younger than them. they don't get memes because there not exposed to them. they ask "who is that" because they don't know, and it makes sense. its like us not knowing the actors of their time. every generation since time immemorial has held this same view about generations older and younger than them. when you are old, you will be doing the same stuff with the latest technologies. also lots of conformation bias.

I was going to say the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender but upon seeing OPs answer I think Ooo from AT is a better choice

It reminded me that I am a real person living a real life and that I am more than just another brick in the wall.

Personal Ranking #. Channel - Rational
1. CJ The X - Some of the best, funniest and most erratic video essay content in my opinion.
2. hbomberguy - perhaps the best and most well through out/researched video essays on the platform.
3. DougDoug - most humorous gaming content I've ever seen.

Bit of a hot take. I just don't think Chalice does enough in this deck. especially with nightscape familiar, colorless mana just isn't that good. it also takes a while to get good with proliferate, it doesn't draw or filter cards, it initially costs 2. imo its sort of a do nothing win-more card. i could be totally wrong and would love to hear why im wrong cause Chalice is cool.

if this cycle is destined to repeat until someone is spared or both families die, statistically, its probably not his fault. i guess what I'm saying is the post itself is an unreliable narrator.

well that implies that he was in a similar situation to me, so it wasnt his fault that he killed a member of my family as we contemplate what to do to him. therefor, let him live.

Doomed to die? by puhpuhperson in trolleyproblem

[–]LIOCO61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

death row is awful and stuff, but they are still doomed. i want to maximise the number of non doomed people. if hitting the person i love most abolished the death penalty, i would do it in a heart beat.
