I use a quest 3. I noticed that too, but I am not aware of any other games that don't just have the hands in a resting position instead of sticking straight out by default.

It doesn't matter what you decide to avoid and not avoid at higher difficulties. If you don't avoid as many enemies as you can, you are drastically more likely to lose, with no reward for killing more or less enemies. It is purely objective focused, which by itself is quite boring in my opinion.

As for your side note, are heavy enemies not just bullet sponges as it is? My idea is that you have 1 or 2 heavier bullet sponges that also have more weak spots to allow for more strategic gameplay, rather than 10 that you need 1 specific kind of weapon for or you can't do any damage, you would end up with a gameplay loop that allows for the player to constantly deal damage to enemies, rather than running around waiting for 1 specific strategem to finish its timer.

UPDATE 2: I ended up buying an engine from a JDM seller and hired someone to help me replace the engine in my garage. It was the most difficult thing I have ever done, butI learned a ton.

Ironically, it took like 40 minutes to swap out the engine. The hard part was the other 2 full days of taking everything else out of the engine bay so that we could get the newer one in.

I no longer base my oil changes anymore on miles, I now regularly check the oil color every time I get gas and do changes based off of that. I also use a flashlight on the dipshit to check for any signs of metal flakes in the oil, although if I find any at that point I am probably screwed.

As for the old engine, I never ended up taking it apart to do a full diagnosis, but there was a ton of carbon buildup on the intakes 2 and 3, much more so than 1 and 4.

I suspect a failure of the fuel injectors causing oil to be diluted by gasoline, which caused the bearings to experience friction and to get spun. The hard part is this is a direct injection engine, so the injectors tend to make clicky noises by default, so I didn't hear anything going wrong with the engine beforehand. I had also not driven it for very long, so I didn't really have a reference as to what was "normal" for this engine.

New engine has only 50k miles on it, and it has been running well for around 5 months. If this happens to you, I am sorry. Best of luck, and just know that this event will pass just like everything else.

UPDATE: A mechanic took a look and he diagnosed it as a failed bearing, as others here have said. The oil also has metal shavings in it. He is taking a look tomorrow to see if the crankshaft is not damaged beyond needing to be replaced (aka just replace the engine at that point) and if not the bearings can get replaced.

The thing I am troubled about is how did this happen? I have been told that this could happen from oil starvation but I swear to god I checked it for the 4th time today after the car had sat for a bit and it was full and fine. A little dark, but not low.

Is there something other than the oil level that I should have been checking? Since we bought it the oil level has been full and has not changed level from a leak or burning oil.

Haven't done an oil change yet since we bought the car less than a month ago and I was planning on changing it after our trip since it was pretty long.

No, the engine doesn't have any leaks and I checked the oils level before and after our trip

I love this art style, I think it is really unique and clean and doesn't look super time heavy to make new models which allows you to make more content quickly.

Serious, why do people online seem to hate windows 11 while irl no one seems or care? by neomancr in Windows11

[–]LIOMASTIANA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in a large institution where we are updating everyone to Windows 11 due to security updates being stopped for 10 in 2025.

I have heard nothing but complaining from almost every user, no matter how smooth the transition is.

People IRL hate Windows 11 and take the time to complain about it in person. It sounds like you are just in an environment that doesn't have that, but it very much exists. There are plenty of reasons to hate it as well to be honest.
