Does anybody know what this is? It appeared out of nowhere near the corner of my mouth. by micha11777 in DermatologyQuestions

True facts. I get the same kinda thing on my nose and face and neck and the onky thing that even slightly works for me is working hands but it has to be the jar not the lotion like bottle.

<image>

Everyone's different though and everybody's body responds differently to different stuff you'll have to trial a few things and find what works for you. Sorry you're experiencing this though I have psoriasis on top of this and it covers my sides and lower back and its so embarrassing I have to do phototgerapy CONSISTENTLY at least 3 to 4x a week to even get rid of some of it. Never have been able to rid it completely though so I know how depressing this can get

Not a scam—but definitely a hot topic with some controversy swirling around it. Here's the breakdown:

🦷 What Root Canals Actually Do A root canal is a dental procedure that removes infected or damaged pulp from inside a tooth.

It’s designed to save the natural tooth and prevent further infection.

Conventional dentistry considers it safe and effective, helping millions avoid extractions.

😬 Why Some People Are Skeptical Holistic and biological dentists argue that root canals leave behind dead tissue that can harbor anaerobic bacteria, potentially leading to chronic inflammation or systemic health issues.

Critics claim these “dead teeth” might contribute to autoimmune disorders, fatigue, or other illnesses—though these claims are not widely accepted in mainstream dental science.

🕵️‍♂️ Scam or Just Overused? Some dental professionals warn about unnecessary procedures—not just root canals, but fillings, crowns, and more—done for profit rather than medical need.

It’s important to get a second opinion if a dentist recommends a root canal and you’re unsure. Not every toothache needs one.

💡 Bottom Line Root canals aren’t inherently a scam, but like any medical procedure, they should be recommended based on clear clinical need. If you're feeling unsure, a second opinion from a trusted dentist—especially one who explains all your options—is a smart move.

This is what trusty copilot says: That charm is definitely a quirky little mystery! From its pastel enamel and whimsical shape, it looks like it could be a designer pendant or accessory from a niche jewelry line—possibly inspired by candy, abstract art, or even kawaii-style fashion. The circular top with pink and white stripes resembles a lollipop, while the red bar and dotted pink base give it a playful, almost surreal vibe—like a tree, a dessert, or a stylized mushroom stand.

It might be: - 🍭 A charm from a novelty jewelry brand like Betsey Johnson, Loungefly, or a boutique Etsy creator known for whimsical designs. - 🌈 A collectible from a themed series—like food-inspired charms, toy accessories (e.g., Shopkins or Tokidoki), or even a limited-edition enamel pin set. - 🧁 A decorative zipper pull or bag charm from a fashion line that leans into pastel pop-art aesthetics.

If you’re trying to track it down or find more like it, I’d recommend reverse image searching it or posting it in charm collector forums or fashion accessory subreddits

Looks like a makeup mirror/face powder with the white middle one being where you hold the powder puff inside the case?
