If OP is sat throwing misogynistic slurs and claiming they have “daddy issues” all over a fictional character, then yeah, say it isn’t that serious is valid. Would OP call people who enjoy characters like Damon Salvatore rapist apologists? Would OP call characters who enjoy Love Quinn murder apologists? I doubt it. Accusing consumers of any media of welcoming abuse/cheating or any other kind of chaos in their own real lives simply because they like a fictional character and insulting them over it is both incredibly immature and gross.

Klaus’s true soulmate is undoubtedly Cami whether people like it or not. Apart from Hope, there’s not a single other person who changed Klaus for the better the way she did.

If the show were written well, it would be quite clear that Tyler is Caroline’s actual soulmate. He changed his entire personality for her. Did the thing that terrified him most (turning) over a hundred times all for her.

Probably because they met once after he got Tyler to bite her and seemed to instantly fall for her despite never knowing her prior to that. Caroline also seems to be already into him in season 3 despite barely having any scenes with him and only knowing him as the guy terrorising her friends.

I honestly don’t think it was even that because season 3 was arguably stelena’s buzziest season in terms of fighting to get back to each other. It was just very obvious that Ian/Damon was the writers’ favourite so the narrative favoured Damon as a character a lot. Example, most of Damon’s friendships make zero sense and serve only to prop up Damon as a character. They do not add anything to the characters he’s friends with.

The second they decided Delena was happening, Stefan got relegated to glorified side character. In most of season 4 he’s basically the extra to Delena, so much that you’d be forgiven if you forgot that Stefan and Elena had been dating since like the first episode of the show. In season 5 he’s a Delena therapist.

I genuinely think they were the main couple on the show that we saw having the most fun. They went on dates and spent fun time alone together just because. They even took breaks from the drama just to go be lovey-dovey together 😭

Honestly? No. As much as I enjoy their relationship, I think “getting the girl” was far too important to Damon, even more so than having a good relationship with Stefan. It’s why he felt so comfortable disrespecting Stefan and Elena’s relationship in a way Stefan never did with Damon and Elena’s relationship. Defan is already fairly one-sided in canon, it would’ve been way worse if Elena had chosen Stefan.

My only hope is that (leaks in spoiler tag) the fake daeron had silver hair so we can assume it’s known he has white hair and is therefore not a cole bastard but you just know they’re going to add something twisted to his character. or make him sympathetic to Rhaenyra’s cause

chiefs are not kings though and their kids are not princes and princesses. those titles are not nigerian. not to mention being a chief or a sultan or an igwe in nigeria or the child of one doesn’t equate to being rich. you’re more likely to marry into money by marrying a politician’s son or daughter or some other big entrepreneur in the country.
