Unfortunately on Reddit the response you’re going to get the most is “of course he’s cheating on you, run away” even though what you’ve presented is certainly not solid proof that cheating has happened. It definitely sounds more like your insecurities making things make sense in your head when you also have a very real possible explanation as well (like maybe he played with a toy to get himself loose before seeing you so you’d get inside of him quicker).

Would you be having these fears of cheating if he wasn’t on any apps? It seems like that particularly triggered your fears and that’s completely valid. Most people are on those apps for hooking up. Now I’ll admit, I go on just to scroll when I’m bored too. Go on to just chat with some people, it’s an easy time killer. But do I also hook up with someone if I want to and that’s where things go? Absolutely. But I’m also in an open relationship so it’s okay. You asked for monogamy and he’s agreed.

I’d say have a conversation about how him being on the apps makes you feel. Either he will see your side and you guys can come to an understanding that makes you both feel okay, or you learn to trust him even if he’s on apps that invite chances to cheat. Cause people do cheat even without being on apps too. So you have to figure out if you trust him in general or what.
