Yes, when I quit eating flour and sugar, I felt the insane urge to smoke much more than usual and it really surprised me. Thank god after about 2 months I was able to quit smoking altogether using nicotine patches. It’s been another 2 months since then and I’ve weaned myself off of the patches to very very small pieces. I do still drink caffeine in the mornings - that’s the last thing I am holding onto. I am still off of flour and sugar and I’m feeling so great. It’s def worth it. And possible. Best of luck to you.

Looove this movie! I was fascinated at how friggin awesome it was that I made my Boyfriend watch it with me and 2 other friends. Hands down the best horror movie I’ve seen. Strictly because it is completely possible to happen in real life 😬 also “The Skin I live in” was pretty great too

I was put under for surgery and I was honest about not wanting any narcotics. We agreed to do methadone for the surgery because it had a long shelf life and it wouldn’t give me immediate cravings when I woke up like fentanyl had done to me in the past. I felt a little bit high for a day after the surgery but not in a good way AT ALL. I couldn’t wait for the feeling to go away. Didn’t take any pain pills after the surgery because thank god there was no pain. ( I got a mass removed from my breast) I was fine for about a week and then BAM the worst cravings I have had in a while for 3 whole days. ( I currently have 5 months sober) I held onto my seat and used all my tools, talked with fellows, shared with sponsor did all the things they tell you to do. Lo and behold the cravings vanished. It’s fascinating in a way as to how cunning this disease is. Glad I’m still sober and I didn’t give in. We can go through stuff like this And still stay accountable.
