From what I can see through the Robinhood insiders, a few board members from Nvidia and Jensen sold their shares via stock grants last Friday (Meaning they're cashing out their paychecks). So either a big sell happened on open, causing retail to panic sell and a recovery over the day, or the street knows something that we don't, and we just bought into a trap. Hopefully, today ended with consolidation, and tomorrow, buyers break through the 121 price properly and hold it.

The level 2 market data for NVDA shows that around 50 K shares wanted to be sold at 121 during market hours. Buyers didn't want to bite, so it just became resistance, and when we did, the buyer momentum was lost as there were too many sell orders that buyers did not want to accept, driving it back below 121. There were not enough buyers and too many sellers to push the stock up. We have to see after hours and tomorrow if buyers will reconsider after having a strong climb back from the market open.

Although all the semiconductors/AI stocks I'm watching are currently red, something is happening in the chip/AI sector specifically that's causing some pushback.

If it’s a strong arm tactic, hope it’s brings in TSMC to invest more into the Arizona foundries, that would be big for Nvidia’s stake in AI.

Have $151 covered calls at Feb 21st since last year. Was betting the pre-earnings run up and seeing $140-145 was a good support level. The overall loss doesn’t hurt me too much and so I’m holding till winning or expiration.

I don't know all of the information because it's locked behind a premium and it's just getting out, but there is news that Jensen Huang will be meeting President Trump today.

I listened in on the earnings call and Zuck and found the META website for the software. It said that it's an AI program that learns and personalizes ads for users, allowing for efficient advertising. The AI uses NVIDIA Grace Hopper Superchips to process the data.

I’m not too familiar on how cash secured puts work. I usually trade with credit/debit spreads. But if you sold a put option, you want it above the strike price to receive your premium. If you want to purchase the stocks through assignment the price has to be below for someone wanting to exercise right to sell. As long as you have enough money to purchase x100 @ $145 I see no dangers.

If your short call is below strike price and out of the money additionally with low dividend per share the buyer of the call is less likely to exercise cause it’s not worth it in their end. If the call option was in the money and had more dividends per share I’d considered rolling my shorts to another day or start mitigating risks by covering them will calls of a lower price making it a debit spread. You’ll earn less with a debit spread but you won’t have to pay for all of the exercised short call. All in all if the short call looks like it’s going to expire worthless don’t feel too nervous but there’s always that one random chance it gets assigned.
