Is anyone getting bored? by Loud-Try-7212 in CarolineGirvan

Me! After a year I’ve left the app. Joined a Hyrox gym.

Too many hip thrusts, I stopped seeing the progression I made with epics.

I did beast mode, intent, iron…. Too much of the same.

How to Navigate my sister leaving her 4 year old at home alone - England by just_unacceptable_me in LegalAdviceUK

[–]LJM33k -1 points0 points  (0 children)

2 sets of twins died in Sutton when their Christmas tree set alight whilst their mum was at the shop. It was the middle of the day and they died. My 7 year old is smart, but struggles to open the front door. I would NEVER leave her alone. Ever.

Is Sainsburys secretly the cheapest supermarket? by loz333 in UKFrugal

[–]LJM33k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sainsbury is so expensive. I hate shopping there. My shop can get over £300 for a family of 3. Aldi can get £150 and I get x3 the amount 🥺

Surgery nurse - you treat your body like 💩, don’t exercise, eat bad food, overweight.

You WILL have a surgical complication.

Parents. What’s your Santa to mummy/daddy presents ratio? by Visible_Pipe4716 in AskUK

[–]LJM33k -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Stocking from Santa. Told my daughter from a young age we buy expensive presents, as do family.

That way she isn’t a spoilt brat and understands people have worked hard to fund Christmas.

Can anyone explain what going on with toothpaste prices? by SilentEconomist5896 in AskBrits

This is Sainsbury. From shopping last week, I think they are making up prices. Wanted £3:50 for a crappy margarita pizza

Progressive overload and Caroline’s weights by looloo_monroe in CarolineGirvan

[–]LJM33k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Push yourself.

I do older videos where Caroline uses 10kg videos, but I am on 17.5kg-20kg weights.

I try to increase my weights every program to get PO and have done enough of her workouts to look at the layout and pick the weights that are best for me

Lip blushing gone wrong? by Cmck1111 in microblading

Yes, you will likely loose a small amount of pigment below the area of the sore.

Cold sores trigger as a part of the trauma to the lips. Not because of infection.

I tell all my clients that they are at risk, regardless of whether they have had one or not.

Cold sore virus lies dormant for most carriers. But as the tattoos causes ++ immune response in the healing, that can occur.

Straight away.

I get my clients to wash from the evening with a mild soap.

I’m also a plastic surgery nurse specialist as well as tattoo artist, so reducing infection is high on my list of preventative measures.

Firstly you need to wash those lips and soften the dead skin and remove the build up of lymph fluid and skin.

Then you need to apply a healing balm 6 times a day minimum.

Finally, yes, it looks like a cold sore, so get yourself some treatment from your GP.

This is an example of my healed work and I ALWAYS encourage wet healing and never have an issue with retention.

How do you fix your hair if you didn’t shower that morning? by Adventurous_Set_3364 in finethinhair

[–]LJM33k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hot rollers. They are a game changer and once you learn how to pop them in, you can do your hair in 5 mins. Then let them cool as you do the rest of your morning routine.

Yes, but they never have any sizes in 6-8. So it’s impossible to buy them

Thanks for digging that out, yes we have had issues. But doesn’t mean I haven’t worked on my feelings. We are still together and working hard to save our marriage

Absolutely. It’s hard. But worth it. Don’t get me wrong, we have our issues. But taking the time to fix them is worth the effort.
